The Munich International Women’s Club, (www.internationalwomensclub.org; firstname.lastname@example.org) collects data that you provide to us upon registration or later. We collect your name, nationality and contact details, including email address, phone number and street address in order to conduct the ordinary club activities and communications.
Failure to provide the necessary information will stop the registration process.
We also collect any other information you choose to provide, such as your profession, date of birth, photo and spouse’s name.
You have access to and control over your data in our WildApricot database using the username and password you set during the registration process. You can log in to edit or revise your data at any time.
We do not share your information directly with any third parties, and it is strictly forbidden for any member to use the contact information of other members for private business purposes or for sending unsolicited information.
Your data is available to other members of the MIWC through our WildApricot database and WildApricot app, but you have the right and the ability to set which parts of your data other members can access. You should be aware that our activities depend on being able to reach you via email, phone, and occasionally postal mail, and if you decide to deny access you will not receive communications via these channels.
In the course of ordinary club activities, your contact data may be used on third party sites or on social media. For instance, contact data is needed for such things as 1und1, Doodle Poll and Survey Monkey which are used occasionally in ordinary club activities. In addition, event photos may be uploaded to our private Facebook page or Flickr. Also, an activity group in which you choose to participate may use your contact data on WhatsApp to keep you informed.
Member data will be archived 30 days after failure to pay annual dues, and will be deleted after one year.
Data from non-member event guests will be deleted not more than one year after the event.
A cookie is a small text file that a website transfers to your computer to allow it to remember specific information about your session while you are connected. Your computer will share the information in the cookie with the website that provided it, and no other website can request it. There are two types of cookies:

Giving Consent means you agree that the MIWC can collect the data you provide to us so that you can become an active club member. Failure to give consent will stop the registration process.
Please be aware that giving consent to receive club email and other communications as well as giving consent for photos of you appear on our website and social media are separate and failure to give consent to either will not abort the registration process. However, failure to give consent will severely hinder your ability to become an active MIWC member.
